Domino’s Pizza
(ticker: DPZ) closed 11% higher after the pizza chain said it entered into a new global agreement with
Uber
(UBER) that allows U.S. customers to order Domino’s products through Uber Eats and Postmates apps. Domino’s will still be making the deliveries. Uber stock fell 0.8%.
Recursion Pharmaceuticals
(RXRX) said Wednesday it has received a $50 million investment from
Nvidia
(NVDA) through a private investment in public equity, or PIPE, transaction. Recursion stock surged 78%, while
Nvidia
gained 3.5%.
Separately, a report from the Financial Times said Arm—the U.K. chip maker bought by Japan’s SoftBank—was discussing bringing in Nvidia as an anchor investor while the chip designer moves ahead with plans for an initial public offering later this year.
Lucid
(LCID) fell 12% after the electric-vehicle start-up said it produced fewer cars in its second quarter than in the first quarter.
Carvana
(CVNA) jumped 9.2% after JMP Securities raised the price target on shares of the used-car dealer to $50 from $25, and maintained its Outperform rating.
SunPower
(SPWR) rose 8.2% after shares of the solar panel company were upgraded to Strong Buy from Outperform at Raymond James.
Jefferies Financial Group
(JEF) gained 4.9%. The investment banking firm was upgraded to Equal Weight from Underweight at
Morgan Stanley.
DraftKings
(DKNG) closed up 5.3% after the sports-betting company’s stock was upgraded to Buy from Neutral at
BofA.
Terex
(TEX), a manufacturer of equipment used in construction, mining, maintenance, and other industries, said its board approved a 13% increase to its quarterly dividend to 17 cents a share. It is the second time this year
Terex
has raised its dividend. In February, the dividend was raised to 15 cents a share from 13 cents. The stock rose 3.4%.
Cinemark
(CNK) was upgraded to Buy from Neutral at
B. Riley,
and the stock’s price target was raised to $23 from $20. Shares of Cinemark, the movie theater operator, were up 1.4% to $16.16.
