Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the added 0.11%, while the index declined 1.01%, and the index declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the were Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (ETR:), which rose 1.09% or 1.09 points to trade at 100.64 at the close. Meanwhile, Commerzbank AG O.N. (ETR:) added 0.94% or 0.10 points to end at 10.77 and Qiagen NV (ETR:) was up 0.85% or 0.33 points to 39.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zalando SE (ETR:), which fell 7.38% or 1.69 points to trade at 21.21 at the close. Adidas AG (ETR:) declined 5.29% or 10.28 points to end at 184.14 and Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) was down 1.01% or 0.12 points to 11.30.
The top performers on the MDAX were United Internet AG NA (ETR:) which rose 2.05% to 22.92, Krones AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 0.54% to settle at 111.00 and Stabilus (ETR:) which gained 0.48% to close at 62.85.
The worst performers were Vitesco Technologies Group AG (ETR:) which was down 9.17% to 79.70 in late trade, Puma SE (ETR:) which lost 7.18% to settle at 49.90 and Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was down 6.78% to 23.93 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 5.73% to 32.50, ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) which was up 2.64% to settle at 6.53 and Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) which gained 2.09% to close at 29.37.
The worst performers were Atoss Software AG (ETR:) which was down 3.00% to 210.00 in late trade, Nagarro SE (ETR:) which lost 2.91% to settle at 86.90 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.52% to 77.54 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in United Internet AG NA (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.05% or 0.46 to 22.92.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 1.21% to 13.25.
Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.64% or 13.20 to $2,064.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.54% or 0.40 to hit $73.49 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.26% or 0.21 to trade at $78.80 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 101.36.
