Pod Point Group Holdings said Friday that it has signed a flexibility-services partnership agreement with UK Power Networks, the U.K.’s largest distribution network operator, serving 8.3 million homes and businesses.
The electric-vehicle charging company said it will provide flexibility services to UK Power Networks by adjusting electric vehicle charging schedules to better match renewable power generation.
The company said it was well positioned to deliver flexibility services to electricity distributors and is exploring further grid-side partnerships.
Shares at 0817 GMT were up 2.0 pence, or 3%, at 69.5 pence.
